Mmmm, more winter whites! I especially love the Lamar scarf; it looks really cozy.

Emilee

The Lamar scarf looks great!

Zonda

Gorgeous scarves! Hehe..I'm just smiling at the fact you got the yarn from Matt's stash ;)

amanda

I love big cuddly cream coloured knits for the cold! Had a giggle at the yarn 'begging to be stolen' though - isn't it all??? :D

theresa/t does wool

your winter whites are really the best...deliciously wonderful scarfs...love the braided neckpiece! and great photography!!!

Pipany

hello Tiennie. I have been reading your blog for a while and love it! Gorgeous pictures and wonderful knits. You have really inspired me. Pipany in Cornwall, England x

Those scarves are gorgeous! But my fave is that braided one. WOW!! I would've never thought to do that with strips. Very creative of Teva.

Got enough yarn leftover for a Capitan hat! HEHE

Andrea

Deliciously cozy looking scarves!

Mandy

Both scarves are great! I love the braided one, it's always been on my v. long list of Think I Will Knit Someday.

Whistlepea

These are so pretty and classic! I need to make more accessories in muted colours instead of all the crazy variegated stuff I've got.

Heidi

Oh I love LOVE love them!

mai

beautiful scarves! i've added you on goodreads! :)

Robin

Ooooh, I love that scarf. The yarn looks so unbelievably soft and luscious!

Lin

Lovely scarves, I do like the cabled one!

sophy

do you realize you've been knitting a lot of white, lately? ;D i love the braided cables scarf--it looks gorgeous in the white tweed!

katie

oh, i love both of those. you pick out the best patterns!

leslie

i love them both, tiennie.
scarves are truly my favorite accessory!!!!!

Kim

Your braided scarf is so different and beautiful. I actually prefer it not to be too chunky. Yours is just right. :)

Cabbage

www.librarything.com is great, too!

Krissy

I love the Lamar. It looks super soft, too.

opal

oh the braided neckpiece is fabulous! i use goodreads too. that is when i remember to input what i'm reading...

sheepishone

wow! as always, beautiful work!!
i think i may have to "start" a stash for my own husband. is it bad if he doesn't knit?

emily

Beautiful!

I love goodreads. I love books almost as much as knitting, so I love browsing the booklists to find more books to read!

lucy

soft scarves are the best. love the detail on both scarves. Yes, the weather isn't cooperating yet.

Keep warm!

little_lj

LOVE the concept of that interwoven scarf! So original..

sue

Oh my, the braided scarf looks absolutely beautiful. I have never seen that pattern before. I am sure they will both keep you so warm in the cooler months too.

grumperina

Both of those scarves are so interesting! I especially love the look of the one from Teva Durham. However, I think the fact that the length is fixed (can't tighten or loosen it) would not bode well for regulating temperature, which I often accomplish with scarves.

Suzy Girl

Those are both so pretty!! I must be sure to make something in a soft winter white yarn next fall! Just call me copycat.

Ann

Both scarfs look great & it looks like white is your current favorite. It's actually a great color & can match with most colors. Great work!

Rachel

I like both of those, but I really like the reverse cable one. A pattern I hadn't seen yet! And what an idea to do those in white. Very nice!

vanessa

i've been wanting to make that teva's scarf for a very long time. it's nice to see someone actually made one. your's turned out great!

Kristy

Pretty scarves!

gale (she shoots sheep shots)

LOVE your Lamar in alpaca- I've meant to do one for me in alpaca for months but never quite got around to it, the drapiness of the fiber is just lovely.

Pat K

Lovely textures!

kim

I love the creamy whites in this post. These scarves are really pretty. Does Matt notice when his stash is missing? ;)

irishgirlieknits

Those are both gorgeous!! Love the cables!! Perfect

Marimi

your two scarfs are lovely, and you will be a very cute couple, when you will have a walk together with your matching scarfs.
Have a nice week

domesticshorthair

How do you find such patterns? They look so fun and different. Very pretty and I like the idea of white. I said the "idea" because with my 4 y.o., they'd end up a different color sooner rather than later if I made anything white.

Lisa Q

These are gorgeous knits...how fun to have a husband to steal stash from. Does he steal yours? :) Your knitting is just meticulous. Thanks for all the inspiration you give. (Love your new header!)

margaux

pretty!! love those scarves!!

Jodi

Hey, those pretty scarfs match the color of the freaky Seattle morning snow fall yesterday. Maybe your next knit should be a pretty tank to help summon the warm-weather-Spring gods out of hiding. ;)

Sarah

Pea said come look at these and I am glad I did - I can almost feel them cosying around my neck now - beautiful work

Nonnahs

Both of these scarves are just beautiful! And I'm loving the white!

Dave

I really like the Lamar scarf -- very cool pattern!

You do know that now that you've "stolen" from Matt's stash, you've opened the door in the other direction; right? :-)
